This is a key technical position and will be the first locally based specialist within the team, taking responsibility for diagnosing and repairing electric vehicles before they are released and shipped to customers.

Currently, more complex vehicle faults require technical specialists to travel internationally to the site. The objective of this position is to establish this technical capability permanently onsite.

The successful candidate will need to be confident working independently and, importantly, have experience both diagnosing faults and completing the required repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose electrical, electronic and technical faults on electric vehicles.

  • Carry out hands-on repairs following diagnosis.

  • Troubleshoot vehicle breakdowns and identify root causes.

  • Work with EV electrical systems, high-voltage components and associated vehicle technology.

  • Diagnose issues relating to EV charging systems.

  • Carry out software updates and technical interventions using diagnostic equipment.

  • Inspect and test vehicles before they are released for shipment to customers.

  • Support end-of-line vehicle quality and technical inspections.

  • Resolve technical vehicle issues onsite and act as a key point of contact for complex faults.

  • Work closely with international technical specialists when additional support is required.

  • Support wider technical and vehicle-quality activities across the operation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong hands-on experience within automotive maintenance, diagnostics or vehicle repair.

  • Experience working with electric or hybrid vehicles is highly desirable.

  • Strong automotive electrical/electronic fault-finding skills.

  • Ability to both diagnose and physically repair faults.

  • Experience using automotive diagnostic equipment and software.

  • Understanding of EV electrical systems, high-voltage technology and charging systems.

  • Previous experience within an automotive manufacturer, OEM, dealership or vehicle technical environment would be advantageous.

  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of technical problems.

  • English-speaking – Dutch is not required.

  • Dutch-speaking candidates are also welcome
