Project focus

We are looking for a hands-on BAS / Controls Technician to support the programming, integration, commissioning and troubleshooting of building automation and control systems.

The role will have a strong focus on point-to-point verification and system validation, working with BAS/BMS systems and supporting the integration of HVAC and electrical monitoring systems.

Key skills and Experience required

• Professional experience working with BAS / BMS / Control Systems
• Professional experience with Niagara / Niagara 4
• Experience programming and commissioning BMS/BAS systems
• Strong experience with point-to-point verification and system validation
• Experience with control logic development
• Experience integrating HVAC and electrical monitoring systems
• Strong knowledge of BACnet, Modbus and/or OPC
• Experience troubleshooting control systems and resolving technical issues
• Experience with PLC programming, particularly Allen-Bradley / Studio 5000
• Experience with HMI / SCADA systems, such as FactoryTalk
• Experience working within mission-critical environments / data centre infrastructure
• Strong focus on system performance, reliability and reducing operational downtime
