Role: IT Project Manager (Coupa Implementation)

ABOUT THE CUSTOMER

A global manufacturer and trading business with IT operations centralized in Europe. They operate at enterprise scale with mission-critical applications requiring modern engineering practices, security controls, and operational excellence.

THE ROLE

• Hands-on IT Project Manager role leading procurement technology and business transformation initiatives – primarily a Coupa implementation with SAP integration – across COFCO International, reporting to the Global Head of IT PMO and Data Quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of procurement IT projects, primarily the Coupa implementation with SAP integration
• Own the project from its current deployment stage through go-live and transition to support
• Maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, RAID logs, and status reporting
• Coordinate across Procurement, Finance, IT, implementation partners, and vendors
• Manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions throughout the project lifecycle
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement, translating business requirements into delivery plans
• Provide regular reporting to sponsors, steering committees, and leadership

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & TECH STACK

Core Requirements:

Proven, end-to-end delivery of a Coupa implementation with SAP integration, as IT Project Manager – essential

Experience managing technology or business transformation projects from initiation through go-live

Strong project governance, planning, risk, issue, and budget management experience

Understanding of procurement and Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes

Experience with other procurement platforms (SAP Ariba, Ivalua, Jaggaer) valuable but not essential

Fluent English and Portuguese required; Spanish an advantage
