Role Overview
As a Payroll and Benefits Specialist, you will manage all aspects of payroll and employee benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

Entering and reviewing payroll data (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) for all employees.

Managing tax information, direct deposit, new hire processing, and terminations.

Auditing payroll data and employee status changes to ensure accuracy before payroll execution.

Administering benefits programs, including enrollment, terminations, auditing monthly invoices, and coordinating with managers and HR.

Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and labor regulations.

Managing payroll and benefit system interfaces and preparing reports.

Administering COBRA, unemployment claims, and disability claims as needed.

Responding to employee payroll and benefits inquiries promptly and accurately.
Requirements

2+ years’ experience with UKG or similar payroll software.

2+ years of payroll experience.

Experience calculating compensation for both salaried and hourly employees is a plus.

Strong understanding of federal and state payroll and labor regulations.

Proficiency in Excel.

Clean driving, background, and drug screening record.
