Job title – Backend Engineer
Client Location – Spain
Remote work offering – 100%
Client Industry – Software Engineering / Technology
Contract Length – 12 Months
Contract type – Freelance / Contractor
Project focus
Working on the development and maintenance of scalable backend systems within a cloud-based microservices environment. The role will involve building APIs, improving backend performance, and supporting distributed applications used across production infrastructure.
Key skills and Experience required
* Strong experience with TypeScript
* Commercial experience with NestJS and/or ExpressJS
* Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis
* Experience working with AWS cloud services
* Understanding of APIs and microservices architecture
* Experience using Git in collaborative development environments
* Experience working within production infrastructure environments
* Docker experience is beneficial
