About the Role
A leading European retail organization is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to drive the design and evolution of its SAP S/4HANA landscape within a complex enterprise environment. This role plays a critical part in aligning business strategy with IT architecture and ensuring scalable, future-ready systems.
Key Responsibilities
S/4HANA Enterprise Architecture
- Translate business strategy into application and system architecture
- Define lifecycle management across enterprise systems and applications
Architecture Roadmap & Transformation
- Design and manage the transition from current-state to target architecture
- Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps, including interim states
Architecture Governance & Decision-Making
- Facilitate key architectural decisions across stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives
- Lead or contribute to architecture governance forums (e.g., design authority boards)
Integration Strategy & Oversight
- Define and govern integration architecture across SAP S/4HANA and surrounding systems
- Oversee interface management to ensure efficient data flow and system interoperability
Your Profile
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with strong focus on SAP environments
- Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs (greenfield and/or brownfield)
- Proven track record in defining and governing enterprise-wide architecture roadmaps
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, including modules, extensions, and integrations
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and driving architectural alignment
- Degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline
