About the Role

A leading European retail organization is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to drive the design and evolution of its SAP S/4HANA landscape within a complex enterprise environment. This role plays a critical part in aligning business strategy with IT architecture and ensuring scalable, future-ready systems.

Key Responsibilities

S/4HANA Enterprise Architecture

• Translate business strategy into application and system architecture
• Define lifecycle management across enterprise systems and applications

Architecture Roadmap & Transformation

• Design and manage the transition from current-state to target architecture
• Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps, including interim states

Architecture Governance & Decision-Making

• Facilitate key architectural decisions across stakeholders
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives
• Lead or contribute to architecture governance forums (e.g., design authority boards)

Integration Strategy & Oversight

• Define and govern integration architecture across SAP S/4HANA and surrounding systems
• Oversee interface management to ensure efficient data flow and system interoperability

Your Profile

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with strong focus on SAP environments
• Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs (greenfield and/or brownfield)
• Proven track record in defining and governing enterprise-wide architecture roadmaps
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, including modules, extensions, and integrations
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and driving architectural alignment
• Degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline
