About the role

An international manufacturer of highly automated industrial laundry machinery and complete laundry systems is looking for Field Service Technicians to support customers across the Netherlands.

The equipment is used in large-scale commercial and industrial laundries, including customers serving hospitals, hotels, hospitality businesses and workwear operations. This is heavy industrial machinery rather than domestic or standard commercial laundry equipment.

You will travel to customer sites to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install and commission automated laundry systems.

What you will be doing

• Diagnose and repair industrial laundry machinery at customer sites
• Carry out preventative maintenance and service inspections
• Install and commission new machines and production systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
• Read and work from electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Replace worn or failed components and return equipment to operation
• Support customers with technical problems and machine performance
• Work on highly automated machinery and production-line equipment
• Keep accurate records of service interventions and parts used

What we are looking for

• Previous experience as a Field Service Technician, Service Technician, Maintenance Technician, Service Engineer or similar
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
• Experience with industrial machinery, automated production equipment, FMCG machinery or similar
• Hydraulic and/or pneumatic experience is a strong advantage
• Comfortable travelling to customer sites throughout the Netherlands
• Independent and customer-focused working style
• Full driving licence
• Fluent Dutch is mandatory
• Right to work in the EU is mandatory

Experience specifically with industrial laundry machinery is welcome, but the stronger requirement is genuine hands-on experience fault-finding and repairing automated industrial equipment.

The equipment environment includes tunnel washing systems, washer extractors, dryers, sorting/handling and other automated laundry technology. The manufacturer provides installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance and on-site technical support throughout the equipment lifecycle.

De functie

Voor een internationale fabrikant van industriële wasserijmachines en geautomatiseerde wassystemen zijn wij op zoek naar Field Service Technicians voor Nederland.

De machines worden gebruikt in grootschalige wasserijen, onder andere binnen de zorg, hospitality, hotels en industriële wasserijen. Het gaat om zware, geautomatiseerde industriële machines en productielijnen.

Als Field Service Technician ben je verantwoordelijk voor het installeren, inbedrijfstellen, onderhouden en repareren van deze machines bij klanten in Nederland.

Wat ga je doen?

• Storingen analyseren en oplossen aan industriële wasserijmachines
• Uitvoeren van preventief onderhoud en technische inspecties
• Installeren en inbedrijfstellen van nieuwe machines en systemen
• Storingen zoeken op mechanisch, elektrisch, pneumatisch en hydraulisch gebied
• Werken met elektrische en hydraulische schema’s
• Defecte en versleten onderdelen vervangen
• Klanten ondersteunen bij technische problemen
• Werken aan geautomatiseerde machines en productielijnen
• Uitvoeren van service- en onderhoudswerkzaamheden op locatie
• Rapporteren van werkzaamheden en gebruikte onderdelen

Wat breng je mee?

• Ervaring als Servicemonteur, Field Service Technician, Onderhoudsmonteur, Service Engineer of vergelijkbaar
• Sterke mechanische en elektrotechnische basis
• Ervaring met industriële machines, productieautomatisering, machinebouw of vergelijkbare technische installaties
• Kennis van hydrauliek en/of pneumatiek is een sterke pré
• Je bent bereid om door Nederland te reizen naar verschillende klantlocaties
• Je kunt zelfstandig storingen analyseren en oplossen
• Klantgerichte en praktische instelling
• Rijbewijs B
• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal is vereist
• Recht om in de EU te werken is vereist

Ervaring met industriële wasserijmachines is mooi meegenomen, maar geen harde eis. Belangrijker is dat je aantoonbare ervaring hebt met het storingszoeken, onderhouden en repareren van complexe industriële machines.
