We are working with a growing company specialising in photovoltaic project development and delivery, with a strong focus on rooftop solar installations across the residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) sectors.

They are looking for an experienced Team Lead – PV Project Management to lead their project management team, oversee strategic solar projects and drive improvements across project delivery.

This is an opportunity to combine hands-on project leadership with people management, taking responsibility for team development, project performance and the successful delivery of complex PV installations.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the PV Project Management team.

• Provide guidance, coaching and regular performance feedback to project managers.

• Support recruitment, onboarding and resource planning.

• Oversee complex photovoltaic projects, ensuring delivery against budgets, timelines and quality standards.

• Support the team with critical projects, escalations and risk management.

• Coordinate stakeholders, suppliers and subcontractors.

• Improve project management processes, standards and best practices.

• Define and monitor KPIs, preparing management reports and project updates.

• Strengthen collaboration between Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Procurement and senior management.

Your Profile

• At least 5 years’ experience managing photovoltaic projects.

• 1-2 years’ experience in team leadership or managing project teams.

• Proven track record delivering complex PV projects successfully.

• Strong understanding of rooftop photovoltaic systems across residential and C&I markets.

• Good knowledge of relevant VDE regulations, particularly VDE 4105; VDE 4110 knowledge is advantageous.

• Experience in stakeholder, risk and contract management.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies and KPI reporting.

• Very good German and English language skills.

• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• Hands-on, proactive and commercially minded approach, with a focus on project success.
