As we scale our production lines and tighten our operational controls, we are seeking a Senior Accountant with strong manufacturing and cost accounting experience to help strengthen our financial foundation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into inventory, cost structures and process accuracy in a highly dynamic environment.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual contributor who is ready to grow into a first line leadership role. You will work closely with operations, supply chain and program teams while supporting the finance function in a hands on, high accountability environment.

You will help clean up historical inventory issues, strengthen cost tracking methods and ensure that all accounting practices reflect actual manufacturing activity.

You will be expected to operate independently, manage complex accounting tasks and contribute to the development of a scalable financial structure as the company grows.

Inventory and Cost Accounting

Address and resolve inventory discrepancies, improve cost tracking methods and ensure inventory values accurately reflect manufacturing activity. Partner with operations to understand cost drivers and inventory movements.

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Support

Oversee AP and AR processes as needed. Review vendor invoices, expense reports and payment cycles. Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding items.

Compliance and Internal Controls

Ensure adherence to GAAP, tax regulations and internal company policies. Support internal and external audits. Maintain documentation and strengthen internal controls across the finance function.

Cross Functional Partnership

Collaborate closely with manufacturing, supply chain and engineering teams to build financial clarity across production processes. Communicate effectively across departments to resolve issues and support operational accountability.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • A CPA certification preferred or progress toward completion
  • Five or more years of accounting experience, with at least five years in inventory and cost accounting
  • Experience with month end close, reconciliations and financial reporting
