We’re seeking an experienced Bridge Design Engineer to take the lead on complex transportation projects from initial concept through final construction. What You’ll Do

As a key member of our bridge design team, you’ll manage projects through all phases-conceptual planning, design, and construction oversight. You’ll serve as the Engineer of Record, providing technical leadership and sealing final plans, specifications, and estimates for contract bidding. Your role will involve coordinating across multiple disciplines, conducting field visits, attending meetings, and maintaining close collaboration with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of each project.

You’ll also be a mentor and resource to junior staff, reviewing their work, sharing your knowledge, and helping shape the next generation of engineers. Additionally, you’ll contribute to proposal development, project scoping, and staffing plans, and represent the team at industry events to support business development efforts.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 5 to 8 years of experience in the design of transportation-related structures. A BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university is required, along with proficiency in MicroStation, PennDOT bridge design software, AASHTO codes, and structural analysis tools. A strong work ethic, solid communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment are essential. Experience with PennDOT or PA Turnpike projects is highly desirable.
