Darwin Space are currently hiring for a Structures Integration Manager on behalf of a business in Spain.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and verification of all structures integration activities associated with the launch vehicle.

* Manage propellant tanks, interstage, fairing integration and secondary composite structural elements

* Acts as the interface between propulsion engineering, manufacturing, vehicle integration, avionics integration, propulsion integration, test operations, and launch operations.

* Structures Integration Leadership by leading all structures integration activities for launch vehicles and future developments.

* Coordinate installation, routing, integration, checkout, and validation of structures, propellant tanks, interstage, fairing integration and secondary composite structure.

* Ensure structure integration activities comply with approved configurations, procedures, schedules, and quality requirements.

* Maintain operational readiness of structures integration teams, tooling, and facilities.

* Integrated Vehicle Checkout & Testing

* Lead structures support activities during integrated vehicle testing campaigns.

* Coordinate structures functional testing during vehicle integration and launch preparation.

* Ensure structures readiness for qualification and acceptance testing.

* Support troubleshooting during integrated vehicle test campaigns.

* Support launch site structures integration and checkout activities.

* Coordinate avionics closeouts before launch operations.

* Support launch countdown and operations.

* Coordinate rapid troubleshooting and anomaly resolution during launch campaigns.

* Ensure structures integration activities comply with approved configurations and engineering documentation.

* Maintain traceability of structures configurations.

* Support nonconformance resolution and corrective action implementation.

* Team Leadership & Organization

* Lead structures integration technicians, engineers, and operational support personnel

* Define roles, responsibilities, and accountability within the structures integration organization.

* Support staffing, training, qualification, and development of structures integration personnel.

Required Qualifications

* 10+ years of aerospace structure’s integration, electrical integration, or launch vehicle/ Aircraft or Satellite integration experience.

* Strong understanding of aerospace structures

* Experience supporting integrated testing and launch campaigns.

* Experience leading technical integration teams in operational environments.
