Job title – BI Developer

Our client is building out a modern analytics function. You’ll join as one of a small team of BI Developers building the dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics that business users across the company rely on day to day, working on top of trusted, governed data models built by the Analytics Engineering team. Over time the scope extends into conversational and AI-enabled analytics as the platform matures.

Key skills and Experience required

• Strong hands-on BI dashboard and reporting development experience
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with Looker, Tableau, or Databricks dashboards/SQL, and strong SQL skills
• Governed self-service analytics experience: configuring explores/semantic views, safe joins, and guardrails against invalid data combinations
• Strong grasp of measures, dimensions, aggregations, joins, filters, hierarchies, and time calculations
• Data visualisation, information design, and storytelling – building products that guide users to a conclusion, not just presenting charts
• Dashboard validation, reconciliation, and QA/UAT experience
• Understanding of controlled deployment and release management
