We are seeking an experienced Project & Construction Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering industrial compressed air projects across the United States.
This role is responsible for managing projects from initial concept through construction, commissioning, and start-up. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee contractors, manage customer relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of industrial engineering and construction projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
- Lead engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
- Coordinate internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and customers.
- Monitor project costs, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
- Act as the primary customer contact throughout project execution.
- Support construction planning, logistics, contractor management, and site activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial engineering, project execution, construction management, commissioning, or start-up environments.
- Proven experience managing large industrial projects from design through commissioning.
- Strong project scheduling and planning experience using MS Project.
- Experience managing contractors, vendors, and customer relationships.
- Knowledge of construction safety management and industrial project controls.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP certification is advantageous but not required.
