Overview

The business is seeking a Designer to join its Development team, working on innovative loading systems for waste collection vehicles used worldwide. You will be involved from concept through to production in a multidisciplinary, hands-on engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into mechanical designs
• Develop new concepts and improve existing machines
• Create production drawings using PTC Creo Parametric
• Perform strength calculations to validate designs
• Support lean manufacturing through smart design solutions
• Build, assemble, and test prototypes
• Document design decisions and technical outcomes

Requirements

• HBO-level education (Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or similar)
• Strong mechanical engineering affinity
• Experience with production techniques
• Practical, creative, and responsible mindset
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English
• Motivation valued even if not all criteria are met
