Project focus

Our client, a global business, is running a multi-month data transformation programme to build out its reporting and BI capability alongside its internal team, working under an external technical leadership function. This role sits on the reporting layer – using Tableau SQL to query and present data that’s already been modelled, turning it into governed, usable dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.

Key skills and Experience required

• 6+ years’ experience as a BI Developer, BI Engineer or BI Consultant
• 6+ years specifically as a Tableau Developer, as your primary and strongest skill
• Strong Tableau front-end experience – hands-on dashboard and report building, calculated fields, dashboard design and publishing to Tableau Server/Cloud, not just connecting Tableau to a data source
• Experience working within a governed self-service analytics model, building reusable and consistent reporting rather than one-off reports
• Comfortable validating and reconciling dashboard data against source/expected values
• Experience supporting QA/UAT of dashboards before go-live
• Understanding of dashboard performance optimisation
