Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the grid connection process for all Elawan’s projects in Germany. Assess grid connection options, considering technical, financial, and regulatory factors.
• Preparation and submission of grid connection applications.
• Management of several grid consultants, which will provide support during the whole grid connection process.
• Permanent contact with DNOs and other stakeholders to secure grid connection agreements.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
• Coordination with Planning and Management Team for the successful development of the projects.
• Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders. Build a strong relationship with relevant DNOs
• Additional role-related duties as required.

Experience:

• 1 or more years of experience. Working experience in Renewables Industry would be valued.

Required skills:

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in grid connection management for demand and generation
• In-depth understanding of German grid connection processes, regulations, and standards.
• Expert knowledge of German Distribution and Transmission networks
• Ability to interpret technical documents, specifications, and drawings
