Our client is in a growth phase within the energy transition and is working on the expansion and modernization of high-voltage substations throughout the Netherlands. The biggest challenge? Translating complex functional requirements into feasible designs that meet strict safety and reliability requirements, all within a rapidly changing market.

I am looking for someone who:

• Holds at least Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a similar field.
• Has at least 3 years of experience in designing high-voltage systems.
• Has experience with secondary systems such as control, monitoring, and protection.
• Is familiar with Systems Engineering and project-based working.
• Has strong communication skills and is able to collaborate effectively with both internal and external engineers.

Who is interested in:

• Designing primary and/or secondary systems for high-voltage substations (expansion, renovation, new build).
• Translating functional designs into executable project plans.
• Preparing technical documentation and detailed engineering designs.
• Monitoring schedules and coordinating engineering teams.
• Performing quality controls and managing project documentation.
