Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the grid connection process for all Elawan’s projects in Germany. Assess grid connection options, considering technical, financial, and regulatory factors.
- Preparation and submission of grid connection applications.
- Management of several grid consultants, which will provide support during the whole grid connection process.
- Permanent contact with DNOs and other stakeholders to secure grid connection agreements.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
- Coordination with Planning and Management Team for the successful development of the projects.
- Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders. Build a strong relationship with relevant DNOs
- Additional role-related duties as required.
Experience:
- 1 or more years of experience. Working experience in Renewables Industry would be valued.
Required skills:
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in grid connection management for demand and generation
- In-depth understanding of German grid connection processes, regulations, and standards.
- Expert knowledge of German Distribution and Transmission networks
- Ability to interpret technical documents, specifications, and drawings
