Operational Business Analyst – AI Workforce Cost Analytics

Remote from anywhere in the US |Temp-to-Perm Potential

We are looking for a highly skilled Operational Business Analyst to join a dynamic team leveraging AI-driven workforce analytics to optimise labour costs and operational efficiency. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology that identifies cost drivers such as premium pay exposure, overtime spikes, and payroll penalties, helping organisations make data-driven decisions that improve performance.

About the Company

Our client is a specialist HR technology and consulting firm focused on helping organisations optimise their most important asset: people. Many companies struggle to access and leverage their workforce data, leaving inefficiencies and hidden cost risks. This organisation converts unstructured employee intelligence into actionable insights, empowering HR and operations teams to attract, retain, and deploy talent effectively, while addressing workforce problems companies didn’t even know they had.

By joining, you’ll be part of a team that turns complex data into operational improvements, helping businesses grow and run more efficiently.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyse dashboards and extract raw workforce data to uncover trends in premium pay, overtime, and labour cost exposure.

  • Interpret AI-generated insights and translate them into actionable operational recommendations.

  • Partner closely with scheduling managers, operations leaders, and manufacturing stakeholders to understand operational drivers behind anomalies.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and facilitate solution brainstorming to reduce labour cost variance.

  • Provide recommendations that directly influence operational strategy and efficiency improvements.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience as an Operational Business Analyst, ideally in operational environments such as manufacturing, healthcare, or food & beverage.

  • Strong proficiency in dashboard analysis, workforce data interpretation, and reporting.

  • Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis, gather requirements, and present actionable findings.

  • Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

  • Comfortable collaborating with operations stakeholders to implement meaningful change.

Rate & Terms

  • Likely contract-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
