  • A degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • A strong track record in robotics system architecture, with the ability to own end-to-end solution design from concept through to production
  • Expert-level coding ability in C++ and/or Python, with demonstrable experience building production-grade robotics software
  • Deep hands-on experience with ROS2, including the ability to define and enforce standards and best practices across engineering teams
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SLAM, sensor fusion (LiDAR, IMU, vision, radar, GPS), localisation, mapping, and motion planning frameworks such as MoveIt2
  • A solid grounding in control systems, real-time computing, and hardware-software co-design
  • The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders
  • A proven history of contributing to technical pre-sales, including solution scoping, client workshops, and architecture presentations
  • Experience leading and mentoring engineers, with the gravitas to guide technical direction across multiple teams or projects

Required / Highly Preferred:

  • Practical experience with robotics simulation environments such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Gazebo, or comparable platforms
  • Working knowledge of cloud and IoT ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including deployment pipelines and cloud-connected robotics architectures
  • Familiarity with industrial and embedded ecosystems, including ARM, STM32, RTOS, PLC, and SCADA
  • Experience working in multi-robot and multi-vendor integration environments, managing complexity across heterogeneous systems

Beneficial:

  • A curiosity for emerging robotics trends, with experience translating research insights into practical architectural decisions
  • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration across AI, cloud, embedded, and product teams
  • Familiarity with designing and overseeing perception, planning, control, and multi-robot coordination systems at scale
