Infor Senior Financials Consultant
Role Objective

The Infor Senior Financials Consultant works independently or as part of a Financials and Supply Management (FSM) team, providing finance expertise and Infor software knowledge during cloud implementations, system upgrades, migrations, assessments, and business transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

The consultant will lead and support clients through business process transformation initiatives designed to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities include implementation, configuration, and optimisation of Infor Financials and Supply Management (FSM) applications, including:

  • General Ledger
  • Asset Accounting
  • Project Ledger and Grant Accounting
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Accounts Payable
  • Cash Management
  • Close Management
  • Reconciliation Management

Throughout project delivery, the consultant will provide leadership and hands-on support across:

  • Process design
  • Solution configuration and build
  • User training
  • Testing activities
  • Go-live support
  • Change management

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to internal methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Mentoring junior consultants when required
  • Supporting sales and marketing initiatives through subject matter expertise
  • Assisting with project scoping, delivery approaches, and service estimations

Supervisory Responsibilities

This role does not include direct people management responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience leading Infor Financials and Supply Management (FSM) implementations or previous Infor Lawson solutions.
  • Full-cycle or partial implementation and/or migration experience within Infor Financials applications.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and financial reporting expertise, including familiarity with FASB standards and principles.
  • Excellent documentation skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within project teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Visio.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Data mining and analysis experience.
  • Minimum five years of consulting experience.
  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • Infor certifications.

Travel Requirements

  • Expected travel of approximately 30-35% nationwide.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid model combining remote/home office work and on-site client engagement.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work for extended periods at a desk using a computer.
