Darwin Space are currently hiring an AIT Lead Engineer on behalf of a business in Luxembourg.

Qualifications

* At least 8 years of relevant professional experience.

* Master’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, or equivalent.

* Demonstrate great attention to detail, takes pride in high standard execution of tasks.

* Experience with cleanroom and laboratory work, and ideally with high power lasers. * Is familiar with Microsoft Office Suite & Teams or can learn fast.

* Excellent verbal & written communicator in English, with great interpersonal skills.

* Experience writing quality technical documentation.

* Citizenship from a member state from EU/ NATO.

Responsibilities

* Setting up and implementing Assembly, Integration and Testing plans.

* Writing and performing Assembly, Integration and Testing procedures.

* Setting up the best practices and tools in the new AIT department.

* Manage the AIT engineers (this includes clarifying tasks, reviewing outputs, managing workload and mentoring junior engineers).

* Perform the Validation and Verification of products with the Systems Engineering dept.

* Participate in the product design phases to improve manufacturability.

* Documentation (internal and external) writing and review.
