This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced seagoing engineer looking to transition ashore into a Technical Superintendent role.
The Role
You will join the technical team and be trained to take ownership of vessels over time, working closely with senior superintendents and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Technical Superintendents in vessel management
- Assisting with maintenance planning and execution
- Participating in inspections and technical reporting
- Coordinating with crews and suppliers
- Gradually taking on full vessel responsibility
Requirements
- Sailing background as:
- 1st Engineer OR
- 2nd Engineer
- Experience with:
- Multi-purpose or coaster vessels
- 4-stroke engines
- Strong English communication skills
- Motivated to transition into an onshore role
