Field Service Technician – Heat Exchangers

We are working with an established international engineering company specialising in industrial heat transfer technology and heat exchangers. Due to continued growth of their service team, they are looking for a practical and motivated Field Service Technician to join their Dutch operation.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with industrial equipment, travelling to customers and solving technical problems in the field.

Previous heat exchanger experience is an advantage, but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right person.

The Role

After an initial training period in the workshop, you will work across the Netherlands and Benelux, visiting customer sites to carry out service and maintenance activities on industrial heat exchanger equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintenance, inspection and servicing of industrial heat exchangers
• Disassembly, repair and reassembly of equipment
• Troubleshooting and fault finding
• Preventative maintenance and technical inspections
• Supporting customers with technical issues
• Carrying out service work independently at customer sites
• Completing service reports and documenting completed work
• Working closely with the workshop and wider service team
• Participating in an on-call rota, approximately once every six weeks

You will work with customers across a range of industrial environments, including food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, energy and manufacturing.

Voor een internationaal opererend engineeringbedrijf gespecialiseerd in industriële warmteoverdracht en warmtewisselaars zijn wij op zoek naar een praktische en gemotiveerde Field Service Monteur.

Door de verdere groei van het serviceteam zoeken zij een technicus die graag met industriële apparatuur werkt, onderweg is naar klanten en technische problemen in de praktijk oplost.

Ervaring met warmtewisselaars is mooi meegenomen, maar geen vereiste. Voor de juiste kandidaat wordt een volledige technische training voorzien.

De functie

Na een eerste trainingsperiode in de werkplaats ga je op pad naar klanten in Nederland en binnen de Benelux. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor service, onderhoud en reparatie van industriële warmtewisselaarinstallaties.

Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

• Onderhoud, inspectie en service aan industriële warmtewisselaars
• Demonteren, repareren en opnieuw opbouwen van apparatuur
• Storingen analyseren en technische problemen oplossen
• Uitvoeren van preventief onderhoud en technische inspecties
• Klanten ondersteunen bij technische problemen
• Zelfstandig uitvoeren van werkzaamheden op locatie
• Opstellen van service- en werkrapporten
• Samenwerken met de werkplaats en het serviceteam
• Meedraaien in een storingsdienst, gemiddeld ongeveer één keer per zes weken

Je komt bij klanten binnen verschillende industriële sectoren, waaronder food & beverage, farmacie, chemie, energie en productie.

De organisatie zoekt vooral praktische en betrouwbare technici met de juiste mentaliteit. De exacte opleiding of eerdere ervaring met warmtewisselaars is minder belangrijk dan je praktische technische vaardigheden, probleemoplossend vermogen en bereidheid om te leren.
