About the role

A leading international manufacturer of HVAC and air-handling systems is expanding its field service team in the Netherlands.

The company designs and supplies ventilation, air-handling and climate-control systems for commercial, industrial and specialist environments. The service team is responsible for keeping these installations running reliably throughout their lifecycle, from commissioning and preventative maintenance through to fault finding, repair and modernisation.

As a Field Service Technician, you will spend the majority of your time working at customer sites across the Randstad, particularly around Amsterdam, Dordrecht and The Hague.

What you will be doing

• Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing on air-handling and ventilation systems
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults on HVAC equipment
• Carry out repairs, component replacements and system adjustments
• Support commissioning and start-up of new installations
• Inspect equipment and identify potential failures before they lead to downtime
• Work with technical documentation, drawings and service procedures
• Advise customers on equipment condition, repairs and required replacement parts
• Record completed service work and findings accurately

What we are looking for

• Experience as a Field Service Technician, Service Engineer, HVAC Technician, Maintenance Technician or similar
• Practical experience with HVAC, air handling units, ventilation equipment or comparable mechanical systems
• Good mechanical troubleshooting skills; electrical/control knowledge is highly valuable
• Comfortable working independently at customer locations
• Customer-facing and professional approach
• Full driving licence
• Dutch language skills are mandatory
• Right to work in the EU is mandatory

This would suit someone who enjoys a genuine field service role and wants to work on large-scale HVAC/air-handling equipment rather than building-services installation work alone.

De functie

Voor een internationaal technisch bedrijf dat gespecialiseerd is in klimaat-, ventilatie- en luchtbehandelingssystemen, zijn wij op zoek naar een Field Service Technician voor de Nederlandse markt.

Je werkt voornamelijk op locatie bij klanten in de Randstad. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het onderhouden, inbedrijfstellen, inspecteren en repareren van technische installaties en zorgt ervoor dat deze betrouwbaar en efficiënt blijven functioneren.

Dit is een praktische buitendienstfunctie waarin je veel zelfstandig werkt en regelmatig te maken krijgt met technische storingen die je ter plaatse moet analyseren en oplossen.

Wat ga je doen?

• Uitvoeren van preventief onderhoud en service aan luchtbehandelings- en ventilatiesystemen
• Analyseren en oplossen van mechanische en elektrotechnische storingen
• Uitvoeren van reparaties en vervangen van defecte componenten
• Ondersteunen bij installatie en inbedrijfstelling van nieuwe systemen
• Inspecteren van installaties en signaleren van mogelijke storingen of slijtage
• Werken met technische tekeningen, schema’s en documentatie
• Klanten adviseren over de staat van hun installaties en noodzakelijke werkzaamheden
• Rapporteren van uitgevoerde werkzaamheden en technische bevindingen

Wat breng je mee?

• Ervaring als Servicemonteur, Field Service Technician, Service Engineer, HVAC-technicus, Onderhoudsmonteur of vergelijkbaar
• Praktische ervaring met HVAC, luchtbehandelingskasten, ventilatiesystemen of vergelijkbare technische installaties
• Goede mechanische vaardigheden en ervaring met storingsanalyse
• Elektrotechnische kennis is een sterke pré
• Je vindt het prettig om zelfstandig bij klanten op locatie te werken
• Klantgerichte en professionele houding
• Rijbewijs B
• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal is vereist
• Recht om in de EU te werken is vereist

Ervaring met grote luchtbehandelingsinstallaties of industriële HVAC-systemen is een duidelijke pré. We zoeken iemand die gewend is om daadwerkelijk te servicen, storing te zoeken en te repareren, niet uitsluitend installatiewerk uitvoert.
