Digital Transformation Manager (all genders)

Location: Zurich, St. Gallen or Dornbirn, Switzerland

Salary: Up to CHF 130,000 total package

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Digital Transformation Manager to join a growing digital consulting and transformation business, working with renowned Swiss and international clients.

This is a strategic and client-facing position, where you’ll work closely with senior management teams to shape and deliver digital transformation initiatives that create genuine business improvements.

You’ll be responsible for guiding clients through the entire transformation journey, from identifying opportunities and developing strategies to building business cases and overseeing successful implementation.

Working across areas including Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Marketing, E-Business and Customer Experience, you’ll help organisations rethink their processes, technology and ways of working to achieve their wider business objectives.

This isn’t simply about implementing new technology. It’s about understanding what needs to change, why it needs to change and how to make that change happen.

You’ll join an established Customer Experience team of approximately 60 professionals, working alongside business consultants, project managers and technical specialists in a collaborative environment where strategy and implementation go hand in hand.

Your Responsibilities

• Work directly with C-suite and senior management stakeholders to develop digital transformation strategies, target operating models and long-term roadmaps.
• Lead complex digital transformation projects from initial concept and strategy through to implementation, delivery and continuous improvement.
• Assess existing business processes, organisational structures and technologies, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and customer experience.
• Develop business cases, commercial recommendations and strategic proposals to support transformation initiatives and management decision-making.
• Translate high-level business objectives into practical, achievable transformation plans and measurable outcomes.
• Act as a central point of contact between business stakeholders, IT, sales, management and technical delivery teams.
• Manage multiple transformation projects and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring alignment with wider business objectives.
• Advise and guide clients through organisational change, supporting change management initiatives and ensuring new processes and ways of working are successfully embedded.
• Work closely with business consultants and project teams to ensure strategic recommendations translate into successful implementation.
• Build long-term client relationships, identifying further opportunities to add value beyond individual projects.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 5 years’ experience in digital transformation, strategic consulting or managing complex digital transformation projects.
• Previous experience within a consulting environment, ideally working with enterprise or mid-market clients.
• Strong experience across one or more of the following areas:
  • Product Information Management (PIM).
  • Digital Marketing.
  • E-Business / E-Commerce.
  • Customer Experience (CX).
• Experience advising organisations on digital business models, processes and platforms, including supporting changes to organisational structures and ways of working.
• Comfortable working with C-suite and senior management stakeholders, influencing decisions and presenting strategic recommendations.
• Experience developing business cases, commercial proposals and transformation roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of how to translate business strategy into practical implementation plans.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Knowledge of traditional and agile project management methodologies. Certifications such as HERMES, IPMA or Scrum would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication, presentation and workshop facilitation skills.
• Fluent High German and English, both written and spoken.

You’ll be confident advising senior stakeholders, challenging existing processes and identifying where organisations can improve through digital transformation.

Importantly, you’ll also be comfortable getting hands-on when needed, working alongside delivery teams to ensure strategies are translated into tangible business results.

• How do we successfully implement that change?
