About the Role

We are currently looking for experienced Maintenance / Electromechanical Technicians to join a well-established company operating within the food manufacturing industry in the Netherlands.

This is a hands-on technical position working with automated production lines, industrial machinery, packaging equipment and electrical and mechanical systems.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining production equipment, diagnosing technical faults and ensuring machinery operates efficiently to minimise downtime.

The position offers a varied working environment, long-term stability and opportunities to develop your technical skills within a modern manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial production machinery.

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and electromechanical faults.

• Perform maintenance on automated production lines, conveyor systems and packaging equipment.

• Troubleshoot motors, sensors, drives and other electrical components.

• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Identify and resolve technical breakdowns to minimise production downtime.

• Support improvements to machinery performance, reliability and efficiency.

• Assist with installations, repairs and technical modifications.

• Work closely with production operators and other maintenance technicians.

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, hygiene and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Electromechanical Technician, Electrical Technician, Mechanical Technician or similar.

• Strong electrical and/or mechanical maintenance knowledge.

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, sensors or PLC-controlled equipment.

• Experience working with automated production lines would be beneficial.

• Previous experience in food manufacturing, packaging, FMCG or industrial production is advantageous.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Relevant technical qualifications or equivalent practical experience.

Experience in food manufacturing is not essential. Candidates with transferable technical experience from other industrial environments are encouraged to apply.
