Product Owner / Pimcore Functional Specialist
Location: Switzerland / Remote
Contract: 2 years with option to extend

We are supporting a leading construction business based in Switzerland that is looking for a Product Owner / Pimcore Functional Specialist to join a long-term digital and data project.
The main focus of this role is Pimcore, so we are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience working with Pimcore from a functional, operational, and business-user perspective.
This is not a purely strategic Product Owner position. The client needs someone who understands how Pimcore is used day to day, how data is maintained within the platform, and how Pimcore connects into wider business systems such as ERP.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or another ERP system would be highly valuable, particularly around data maintenance, validation, and understanding data flows between Pimcore and ERP.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day operational use of Pimcore across the business.
Maintain and update product, master, and operational data within Pimcore.
Support data uploads, corrections, validation, and data quality activities.
Where required, assist with data maintenance within the ERP system.
Understand and document data flows between Pimcore, ERP, and other connected systems.
Work closely with business users to identify issues, process gaps, and system challenges.
Translate user problems into clear tickets, requirements, or user stories for technical teams.
Support testing activities including functional testing, UAT, regression testing, and data validation.
Train and support business users to ensure Pimcore is used effectively.
Act as the bridge between business users, IT, data teams, and external partners.
Required Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Pimcore is essential.
Previous experience as a Product Owner, Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, PIM Specialist, Data Steward, or similar.
Good understanding of product data, master data, attributes, catalogues, digital assets, and data quality processes.
Experience with data uploads, data maintenance, corrections, and validation.
Understanding of how Pimcore connects with ERP or other business systems.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or another ERP system is highly desirable.
Ability to understand data flows and explain them clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
Experience gathering requirements and converting user issues into structured tickets or user stories.
Testing experience including UAT, functional testing, and data validation.
Able to train and support business users in German.
Fluent or native German language skills are essential.
