The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join a specialist service team supporting sweeping vehicles and machinery across the Utrecht region.
This is a hands-on field-based position for a technician who enjoys working independently, diagnosing technical problems and travelling to different customer locations.
The ideal candidate will come from a truck, heavy vehicle, LCV, agricultural machinery or mobile machinery background, with strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical knowledge.
Your Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations across the region
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on sweeping vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Troubleshoot technical issues independently on-site
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance
- Identify faults and determine the appropriate repair solution
- Work on vehicle, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Advise customers on technical issues where required
- Complete service reports and relevant administration
- Work closely with the workshop, planning team and other field technicians
The current machinery in the region is predominantly diesel-powered, with a strong focus on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.

- Trucks / heavy commercial vehicles
- LCVs
- Automotive
- Agricultural machinery
- Mobile machinery
- Specialist vehicle environments
You should be confident working with:
- Mechanical systems
- Hydraulics
- Electrical/electronic systems
- Vehicle systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics
Most importantly, you should be comfortable working independently and diagnosing technical issues in the field.

Language Requirement
Dutch is mandatory for this position.
You will be working directly with customers, so strong Dutch communication skills are essential.
