Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the success of these projects, blending construction, mechanical, and electrical engineering expertise to exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies for refit requests and execute engineering for refit and service projects with a multidisciplinary team.
- Act as the technical point of contact for shipbuilding and mechanical engineering aspects within a project, while maintaining an overview of quality, content, and progress across all disciplines.
- Monitor and enforce established design and engineering principles during project execution, providing technical support to teams at the shipyard.
- Independently perform shipbuilding and mechanical engineering drawings and calculations.
- Respond to technical queries from clients and provide expert advice.
- Work across multiple locations to support refit projects and contribute to developing engineering knowledge and quality within the team.
What You Bring
- A degree in Shipbuilding or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in shipbuilding, yacht building, or mechanical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of theoretical shipbuilding, mechanical engineering systems, and relevant class/national regulations for yachts.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
- A proactive, decisive, and service-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and customer-focused environment.
