Darwin Space are currently partnering with an established engineering organisation operating within the European space sector who are looking to appoint a New Business Sales Executive to support their continued commercial growth.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys proactively winning new customers, building relationships from scratch, and taking full ownership of the sales cycle in a highly technical environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a pure new business role focused on driving growth across the European space and defence market.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing your own outbound prospecting strategy.
- Identifying and engaging new commercial opportunities across target markets.
- Building relationships with technical, procurement and senior decision-makers.
- Managing opportunities through the full sales cycle from first contact to close.
- Working closely with internal technical teams to align solutions with customer needs.
- Supporting customer meetings and external industry engagements where required.
About You
This role will suit a commercially driven individual who thrives in a hunting environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience with a strong focus on new business development.
- Proven experience selling complex deep-tech or highly technical solutions.
- Exposure to aerospace, space, defence, or similarly advanced engineering sectors (highly desirable).
- A consistent track record of generating and closing deals independently.
- Confidence engaging with technical, procurement and senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, resilient and target-driven mindset.
- Fluent English; German language skills would be an advantage.
