Their Electrical Energy Directorate operates hydraulic and thermal power plants, develops renewable energy facilities, and ensures reliable electricity supply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary projects to rehabilitate hydropower plants, focusing on areas like bedload management, hydropeaking control, and fish migration.
- Oversee the planning and management of projects for the maintenance and renovation of building infrastructure and measuring equipment.
- Plan and manage the monitoring process of dams, ensuring compliance with federal energy regulations.
- Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects for the renewal and expansion of hydropower plants.
Required Qualifications:
- Civil engineering degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a civil engineer in a planning office or similar role
- Strong understanding of hydropower plants and hydrology; knowledge of geomatics and environmental sciences is a plus
- Proven experience in managing construction projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in French language, German is a plus
