Senior Flight Test Engineer – Defense Tech – California

The Role

We’re seeking a Senior Flight Test Engineer to help establish and mature a world-class flight test capability. You’ll operate across the full test lifecycle – from planning and instrumentation through execution and post-flight analysis – on cutting-edge unmanned platforms. This is a hands-on role with genuine systems-level scope.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Engineering, Robotics, or related discipline
• Demonstrated track record in a flight test engineering capacity, with exposure to autonomous or unmanned systems
• Familiarity with FAA regulatory frameworks and UAS operational requirements
• US Citizenship required (ITAR environment)
• Strong technical writing and cross-functional communication skills
