IT/OT Support Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT/OT Support Engineer to join a technical environment where IT infrastructure, operational technology and security systems come together.

You will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support, troubleshooting incidents, maintaining systems and supporting software upgrades and implementations. You will work closely with internal teams, customers and technical stakeholders to ensure systems remain reliable, secure and operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd-line support across IT and OT environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents and system issues
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Support software upgrades, releases and implementations
• Analyse system logs and identify root causes
• Support FAT/SAT activities and system commissioning
• Monitor and maintain IT/OT infrastructure and connected systems
• Provide remote and onsite technical support
• Work with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve complex issues
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and incident records
• Follow ITIL/ITSM processes for incident, problem and change management
• Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes and technical environments

• Related access-control technologies

ITSM / Service Management

• ITIL / ITSM
• ServiceNow
• Jira / Jira Service Management
• TOPdesk
• Confluence or similar documentation platforms

About You

• Several years of experience in IT/OT support or a similar technical support role
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Hands-on experience working with technical systems and infrastructure
• Comfortable working in an industrial, production or OT environment
• Experience with CCTV/VMS and/or access-control systems is highly beneficial
• Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes
• Experience with FAT/SAT, commissioning or technical implementations is an advantage
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with technical teams
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Willing to work on-site as required
• Valid driving licence is preferred
