Senior Systems Integration Engineer / Technical Lead

We’re partnering with an innovative defence technology company seeking a Senior Systems Integration Tech Lead to lead the integration of complex software and hardware into a single, mission-critical platform. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on solving real-world systems integration challenges.
The Opportunity
You’ll lead the integration of sensors, command-and-control software, communications and operational systems into a unified, deployable solution. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you’ll define integration architecture, solve complex technical challenges, and remain actively involved in development, testing and deployment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the integration of complex software and hardware systems.
- Define system architecture, interfaces and integration strategy.
- Drive system interoperability, performance and reliability.
- Mentor engineers while remaining hands-on in development and debugging.
- Support system verification, field testing and customer deployments.
- Work closely with internal teams, customers and technology partners.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience integrating complex systems.
- Background in Systems Engineering, Systems Integration or Technical Architecture.
- Experience leading technical projects or engineering teams.
- Strong Linux, C++ and Python skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience in any of the following is highly desirable:
- Defence or Mission Systems
- Autonomous Systems or Robotics
- Aerospace
- Telecommunications
- Automotive (ADAS / Autonomous Driving)
Exposure to sensor fusion, command & control (C2), multi-sensor tracking, HIL/SIL, ROS, PX4, ArduPilot or defence interoperability standards would be advantageous.
What’s On Offer
- €7,000-€9,000 per month + 8% Holiday Allowance + Equity
- Hybrid working (3-5 days per week in Delft)
