Job Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Wind Technicians to support a Vestas major component exchange project focused on main bearing and blade replacement activities. Candidates must have proven hands-on experience working on Vestas turbines and performing major component exchanges in accordance with OEM standards and site safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform main bearing exchange and blade replacement activities on Vestas wind turbines
- Execute major component removal and installation using approved procedures and tooling
- Support crane operations, rigging activities, and mechanical completion tasks
- Follow all HSE procedures, LOTO requirements, and site-specific safety protocols
- Complete inspection and reporting documentation accurately
- Work collaboratively with site management and project teams to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during exchange activities when required
Requirements
Essential Experience
- Previous experience working on Vestas wind turbines
- Proven experience carrying out major component exchanges/replacements, specifically:
- Main bearing exchange
- Blade exchange
- Strong mechanical background within the wind industry
- Ability to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions
- Good understanding of turbine safety and OEM procedures
Required Certifications
- GWO BST (Basic Safety Training) – valid
- Vestas D-Level or C-Level certification – valid
- LOTO 2 certification – valid
