Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior BAS Service Technician to support enterprise-level building automation systems through centralized, desk-based operations. This role focuses on remote diagnostics, system troubleshooting, and service support across multiple vendor platforms using a Niagara-based front end. Minimal field travel is required.
The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on service experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced energy management or controls support environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide remote service, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for building automation systems across multiple sites

Respond to hot and cold service calls from a centralized Energy Management Office

Analyze BAS alarms, trends, and performance issues using a Niagara front-end platform

Support and troubleshoot systems from multiple controls manufacturers, including:

JCI / FX
-
Distech
-
Trane
-
Other major BAS platforms

Perform system-level diagnostics related to:

HVAC control logic
-
Network communication issues
-
Controller performance
-
Sensor and point anomalies
-

Coordinate with internal teams or field personnel when on-site intervention is required

Document findings, resolutions, and recommendations clearly and accurately

Maintain consistent service quality while managing multiple concurrent issues
Required Qualifications (Must-Have)

Tritium Niagara Certification (active or previously held)

Strong BAS service and diagnostics background

Proven experience supporting at least one major controls platform, such as:

JCI / FX
-
Distech
-
Trane
-
-
Experience working with Niagara as an aggregation and front-end platform
-
Ability to troubleshoot multi-vendor BAS environments

Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control sequences

Comfortable working in a desk-based, remote support role

Fluent in English (Spanish not required)
