BUSINESS DEVELOPER GERMANY
Main Responsibilities:
- Identifying and developing new and profitable opportunities in solar, wind, and energy storage.
- Implementing a business development strategy in the region, focusing on market analysis and project opportunity evaluation from market, financial, and technical perspectives.
- Supporting engineering studies, environmental impact assessments, and other technical measures related to the projects.
- Coordinating and communicating with all project stakeholders, such as municipalities, districts, co-developers, landowners, and external consultants.
- Assessing the economic and technical feasibility of greenfield, co-development, and M&A opportunities.
- Assisting in due diligence processes and the completion of project acquisitions.
- Representing Elawan Energy at seminars, congresses, trade shows, and business related forums. Building the Elawan Energy brand in the regional market.
- Additional role-related tasks as needed.
Your Profile:
- A university degree in Engineering, Business, Renewable Energy Management, Urban Planning, Architecture, or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience in the renewable energy sector.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with a multidisciplinary background (commercial, financial, legal).
- Willingness to travel within Germany, with business-fluent German (C1 Level) and English skills; additional languages are an advantage.
- Social skills such as conflict resolution, reliability, openness, self-initiative, flexibility, and teamwork.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and holistic thinking and acting.
