The Role
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of industrial machinery at customer sites across the Netherlands. The position is field-based and combines both mechanical and electrical work, making it ideal for technicians with a mechatronics or electro-mechanical background.
You will work independently on-site while remaining closely connected to an experienced internal service team.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of industrial machinery
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
- Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and basic control-related issues
- Supporting customers during machine breakdowns and technical issues
- Testing and adjusting machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Training operators on machine operation and daily maintenance
- Completing digital service reports and documentation
- Collaborating with service coordinators, technical support teams and sales colleagues
Profile
- Experience as a Service Technician, Maintenance Technician or Field Service Technician within an industrial environment
- Background in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Experience with industrial machinery, production equipment or automated systems
- Basic knowledge of PLC/control systems is beneficial
- Comfortable working independently on customer sites
- Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
- Professional Dutch and good English language skills
- Driving licence (B)
