About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Architect to join a leading IT consulting and digital transformation organisation specialising in ServiceNow solutions.

In this role, you will take ownership of platform architecture, helping customers design, optimise and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with their business objectives. You will work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and senior management to define architectural strategies and ensure best practices across the ServiceNow platform.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced architect who enjoys combining technical expertise, strategic thinking and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, sustainable ServiceNow platform architectures aligned with customer requirements.

• Develop target architectures, technical roadmaps and platform strategies.

• Evaluate existing ServiceNow environments and identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.

• Establish platform governance, instance strategies and best practices.

• Lead architectural discussions covering integrations, data management and platform development.

• Drive best practices around CMDB and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

• Advise customers on platform capabilities, technical solutions and architectural decisions.

• Explore emerging technologies, including Responsible AI, Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

• Lead customer workshops, technical presentations and architectural reviews.

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to development and implementation teams.

• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Several years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, with substantial experience in solution or platform architecture.

• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, platform capabilities and implementation best practices.

• Experience with CMDB, CSDM, integrations and platform governance.

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Experience leading architectural workshops and engaging with senior stakeholders.

• Knowledge of emerging technologies, particularly AI and generative AI, is advantageous.

• Strong communication, consulting and problem-solving skills.

• C1-level or native German proficiency, with the confidence to lead customer discussions and workshops in German.

• Good command of English.

• Must be based in Germany and willing to work in a hybrid environment.
