Your Role
As a Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying opportunities, building strong relationships, and closing deals. Working alongside a colleague, you will be responsible for generating a steady flow of orders for software products, services, and training, targeting both new and existing customers.
You will develop and implement clear sales strategies while staying ahead of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Your ability to ask the right questions, listen actively, and understand customer needs will allow you to offer tailored solutions that add real value.
This hybrid role offers flexibility, allowing you to work from home, visit clients, and collaborate with colleagues at the office.
What You’ll Be Doing

Developing and executing a strategic sales plan to expand business opportunities

Identifying and engaging with potential customers, leveraging your network and market insights

Leading discovery meetings and product demonstrations, showcasing the value of our solutions

Managing the full sales cycle-from initial lead generation to successful deal closure

Negotiating contracts, preparing quotations, and drafting cooperation agreements

Representing the company at trade fairs and conferences to expand industry presence

Working closely with pre-sales consultants, engineers, and the delivery team to align solutions with customer needs
What You Bring

A completed HBO education or equivalent experience

5 to 10 years of relevant experience in product-oriented sales processes
-
A strong background in the metalworking industry, experience with turning and milling machines is essential

Affinity with CAD/CAM software and related technologies is a plus
-
A results-driven mindset with a pragmatic approach to closing deals

Experience developing compelling product propositions and investment proposals

Familiarity with one or more structured sales methodologies

Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Dutch and English

Willingness to travel within the Benelux region
