The Role

We are looking for a Project Manager / Civil Engineer to take ownership of the structural and construction side of BESS projects – from identifying suitable sites and securing approvals through to construction and delivery.

You will work across engineering, permitting, construction, and project management, while coordinating external partners and authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential BESS sites for technical feasibility, land availability, and building regulations.

• Develop layouts, site plans, and technical decision-making criteria.

• Prepare and submit building applications and coordinate with building authorities.

• Manage construction implementation, contractors, and external partners.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Build and manage a network of civil engineering and construction partners.

• Support the assessment of new customer and project opportunities.

Your Profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or similar qualification.

• 2+ years’ relevant experience, ideally within renewable energy or energy infrastructure.

• Experience with building applications and permitting is highly beneficial.

• Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings and site plans.

• Strong project management and organisational skills.

• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership.

• Very good German, particularly for working with authorities.
