Contract Length – 4 months (potential for extension)
Contract type – Freelance, part-time (up to 4 hours per day)
Project focus
Our client, a financial services organisation based in the Caribbean, is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to help establish their Architecture Review Board and strengthen how architectural change is governed across the business. The initial phase focuses on setting up governance foundations and building an application/dependency baseline ahead of a future rationalisation exercise. Should the engagement continue beyond the first four months, further work is expected around API management, an API catalogue, and a full rationalisation and retirement roadmap.
Key skills and Experience required
- TOGAF certified, with hands-on experience establishing or running an Architecture Review Board (ARB)
- Strong background within banking, financial services, or investment sectors
- Experience chairing or contributing to governance forums covering vendor-led change
- Track record managing decision logs and architecture governance documentation
- Experience building application/system inventories and dependency mapping ahead of a rationalisation exercise
- Ability to develop policies and standards for change management across internal and external teams
- Desirable: experience with API management platforms, API cataloguing, or retirement/rationalisation roadmaps
