Overview
My client is a leading global systems integrator specialising in mission-critical facility automation within the data centre sector. Headquartered in Texas, they deliver advanced Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) designed to maximise uptime, operational efficiency, and sustainability across high-performance environments.

Key Responsibilities

-Lead collaboration with SCADA and Ignition teams to architect and deliver scalable, real-time control systems
-Design, program, and optimise Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix) using Studio 5000
-Own PLC strategy, including advanced ladder logic development, peer review, and performance optimisation
-Drive system integration using EtherNet/IP (primary) and Modbus, ensuring resilient and secure communications
-Perform advanced fault finding, diagnostics, and root cause analysis across PLC and control systems
-Lead commissioning, testing, and validation activities, ensuring seamless system handover
-Act as a senior technical authority, mentoring junior engineers and promoting engineering best practices
-Collaborate cross-functionally with design, commissioning, and client teams to ensure project success

Key Skills & Experience

-Extensive experience with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLCs (ControlLogix / CompactLogix)
-Advanced proficiency in Studio 5000 (Logix Designer)
-Strong expertise in PLC architecture, system design, and large-scale integration
-Advanced ladder logic design, review, and optimisation
-Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills in mission-critical environments
-Industrial networking expertise: EtherNet/IP, Modbus
-Experience integrating PLC systems with SCADA platforms (Ignition preferred)
-Strong commissioning, validation, and technical leadership experience
