The Role
As a Technical Superintendent, you will take responsibility for the technical management of assigned vessels, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
You will play a key role in supporting fleet expansion, newbuild projects, and third-party vessel management.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical management of assigned vessels
- Overseeing maintenance, repairs, and dry dockings
- Budget management and cost control
- Supporting inspections and compliance
- Liaising with crews, shipyards, and suppliers
- Contributing to newbuild and fleet expansion projects
Requirements
- Experience as a Technical Superintendent OR
- Sailing background as a Chief Engineer (or strong 2nd Engineer ready to step ashore)
- Experience with:
- Multi-purpose or coaster vessels
- 4-stroke engines
- Strong communication skills in English
