A Danish-backed solar and battery storage developer (300-400 MW German pipeline) is hiring a Head of Grid to lead grid strategy, DSO/TSO relationships, and team growth across Germany.
The Role:
- Own all grid-related activities for German portfolio
- Lead DSO/TSO negotiations and grid operator relationships
- Interpret technical simulations (Power Factory, MATLAB) from HQ technical team
- Manage junior grid team member
- Define and execute grid connection strategy
- Clear progression to Head of Technical Team, Germany (within 18-24 months)
You Have:
- 5-8+ years in grid operations, connections, or technical grid roles
- Proven DSO/TSO relationship management and negotiation track record
- Technical depth: Power Factory, MATLAB, or similar grid simulation tools
- Deep German grid market knowledge
- Team leadership experience (or ready for first leadership role)
- Fluent German + English
