EHS Manager

Mission Critical Construction | Austin, TX

A leading U.S. mission critical construction and engineering firm is seeking an EHS Manager to oversee safety operations across large-scale hyperscale data center construction projects in Austin, Texas. This role will support complex electrical, mechanical, and critical infrastructure environments on fast-paced construction programs.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience within mission critical, industrial, or large commercial construction projects, particularly from a General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, or Mechanical Contractor background.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide EHS performance across active construction projects
• Manage safety programs for subcontractors and field teams
• Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Ensure OSHA and client safety compliance standards are maintained
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action processes
• Drive proactive safety culture and behavioral safety initiatives
• Support permitting and high-risk work activities including LOTO, energized work, and confined space
• Partner closely with project leadership and construction teams
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training
• Maintain EHS documentation, reporting, and compliance records

Preferred Experience

• Construction safety experience
• Mission critical or data center construction experience preferred
• Strong background within MEP-heavy construction environments
• Experience working for a GC, Electrical Contractor, or Mechanical Contractor
• OSHA 30 required
• CSP, CHST, ASP, or equivalent certifications preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills in fast-paced project environments

Salary: 110,000 – 135,000
