Key Responsibilities of the position:

Design secondary systems for high-voltage substations, ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulations.

Translate functional designs into executable project plans.

Monitor project progress and ensure timelines are met.

Perform quality control and resolve technical issues.

Maintain technical documentation and project records.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from design to implementation.

Ensure solutions are practical, safe, and technically sound.

Support project planning and scheduling activities.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and systems engineering processes.
Key requirements for the position:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of experience designing high- and medium-voltage systems.

Strong knowledge of electrical networks and energy systems.

Experience with projects requiring high availability, reliability, and safety standards.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and fluent in Afrikaans.
