Junior Computer Vision & Machine Learning Engineer – Autonomous Anti-Drone Systems

What You’ll Do:
- Assist in the development and optimization of computer vision algorithms for real-time drone detection, tracking, and classification.
- Contribute to the design and deployment of machine learning models for use in constrained embedded environments.
- Work with electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate computer vision into turret hardware systems.
- Perform testing and validation of vision algorithms across various environmental conditions to ensure system reliability.
- Support efforts to transition the prototype into a hardened, field-ready product, including adaptation to different engagement scenarios and weapon platforms.
What You’ll Need:
- A strong interest in machine learning, computer vision, and robotics, cultivated through academic or early career experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, with coursework or projects in relevant areas.
- 0-3+ years of experience with machine-learning-based computer vision systems, preferably in real-time or robotics applications.
- Experience developing and deploying software in Python and C++, and familiarity with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent.
- Exposure to embedded systems and integrating software with physical hardware.
- Knowledge of sensors like cameras, LIDAR, and RADAR, and how they support autonomy in technical systems.
- A collaborative mindset and eagerness to tackle challenging interdisciplinary engineering problems.
